11U - 14U

Requirements for Tryouts

    Prior to Tryouts please do the following:
        1)  Complete SPVC online registration HERE. (Link is now active)
        2)  Purchase USA Volleyball membership at www.floridavolleyball.org
 
    Please Bring the following to your tryout:
        1)  Bring copy of Birth Certificate.
        2)  Bring copy of USA Volleyball Membership card.  
        3)  Print and complete PLAYER INFORMATION SHEET. 
        4)  Print and sign the WAIVER / LIABILITY FORM.
        5)  Print and sign USAV Medical Release form.  MUST BE NOTARIZED.
        6)  $50.00 Non Refundable Tryout Fee. 

Tryout Fee
The Tryout Fee can be paid online when you register online in Step 1 above.  Payment can also be made either by Cash or Check made payable to St. Pete Volleyball Club.  If you elect to pay by Cash or Check please bring to tryouts.

Tryout Process

All interested players must attend a tryout to be eligible to play with St. Pete Volleyball Club.  Teams are chosen each year based on performance during these tryouts.  New and Returning players will have the same opportunity to make a team. 

During the registration process on the day of tryouts the player will recieve a numbered St. Pete Volleyball Club Tryout T-Shirt that they will be required to wear throughout the tryout.

St. Pete Volleyball Club will make team selections based on an evaluation which is conducted in a professional manner and based on the consensus of three to five qualified coaches.

At St. Pete Volleyball Club we prefer for the players to play in the age group that they qualify for.  Exceptions can be made.  With this being said, St. Pete Volleyball Club cannot guarantee that teams will be made available for all Age Groups.  In order to give all interested players an opportunity to play on a club team, club admistration might invite a player or players to play "Up" an age group.  This decision will be made after tryouts have concluded. 

Traditionally there are 10 roster spots available per team.  Circumstanses may warrant any individual team to have as many as 12 players or as few as 8 players.
